Minoculars
A few nights ago Ashley told me she needed some "minoculars" (binoculars) so she could find a monkey. I improvised and made her a pair out of two empty toilet paper rolls. (She didn't ever find a monkey.) They have been getting a lot of use lately and this morning I found her looking under and into the Christmas tree with them. When I asked her what she was doing, she told me she was looking for "presents for Ashee". Christmas is so magical this year. I love it.

Ashley the adventurer. I wonder if she will be a world traveler or a student of monkey lore. Maybe just our princess searching for presents.

love it minoculars nick calls them noclers. hope you all have a wonderful christmas i love it when they finally figure it out makes it so much more fun.
Kids are so much fun... and they truly do bring so much joy into the holidays. I used to be a nut about getting presents... I loved presents. Even since we had kids... it has really really changed. Oh, I still love presents.. but I LOVE LOVE LOVE giving gifts to my kids! Have a VERY MERRY Christmas!!
